Empowering the community to acquire sustainable development
SUMASESU is a Non-governmental organization for community development; currently the organization is implementing her activities in Njomberegion. Headquarter offices of SUMASESU is at Tandala – Makete District, with her branch office at Njombe Town- Mpechi street. The organization was found in 1998 and registered in 2004 with Reg #: so 12537 also have a certificate of compliance No: 00001486 for operating in the whole Tanzania mainland.
To moment the organization has implemented several projects in Njombe region with support from different national and international donors on health areas of HIV & AIDS, Family planning, Reproductive health, maternal, Tuberculosis (TB) and VMMC & EIMC being implemented in Councils of Njombe Town, Wanging’ombe and Makete. The projects were funded byUSAID-Boresha Afya (June, 2017 to September 2021), Jhpiego-AIDS free (April, 2017 – July, 2018), Jhpiego – Sauti program Dec, 2015 to Nov, 2016,USAID-FHI 360 for Youth fight against HIV&AIDS, Reproductive health and family planning(2005-2006 and 2008 -2012), RFE-Deloitte for Youth against HIV&AIDS, Reproductive Health and Gender based violence (2012-13), UNICEF for Youth fight against HIV&AIDS of (2013-2015).
